Hallucinogenic drugs are those that directly affect the brain and senses, which causes hallucinations and delusions, makingthe person look, listen, smell or even try to play things that aren't there. A large part of the hallucinogenic drugs comes from nature, mainly plants and mushrooms. These plants have already been discovered a long time ago, in antiquity andthe users they considered divine plants due to effects. And, even today some indigenous cultures of various countries usethese plants so religious, even taking into account its effects.

There are four genera: Panaeolus, Psilocybe mushrooms magic mushrooms, Capelandia and Amanita. In Brazil are foundtwo genres that are the Panaeolus and Psilocybe mushrooms and also, but the best known is the type of the genus Amanitaand in particular the Amanita muscaria. They are colorful and have similar effect the drug LSD, but milder and of shorter duration.
Hallucinogenic drugs cause many effects, however are not easy to predict, since the effects differ from person to person. The effects start at about an hour after using the drug and ends up getting stronger after three or four hours and can last up to 12:0 after use. Among the effects are in sound and vision, like seeing colors too bright and too hear sounds quiteacute, some people even get confused seeing sounds and hearing colors, because the senses are hinder, time passes tooslowly, emotional changes, fatigue, nausea or vomiting, coordination problems, the mood also varies with ups and downs.
There are also bad trips, more known as "bad trips". Sometimes the effects of hallucinogens are negatives as: fear, anxiety, panic, hallucinations that cause despair in person and also the fear of losing control and going crazy.
There is still no evidence that Hallucinogens cause addiction. Maybe this is due to the fact that if a person were to use every day a hallucinogen does not have the same effect, but after at least one week apart. There is great risk of accidents withpeople who use hallucinogens because of the senses fumble about. There is also a big risk with whom mixturehallucinogens with alcohol or stimulants, because the effect can greatly increase.
Ingesting the wrong mushrooms can cause poisoning and even be fatal.

Many people use substances that lead to a non-existent reality. An example is the use of magic mushrooms, that make our body noticing things that aren't happening, i.e. cause hallucinations.
The active ingredient of the main magic mushrooms, also called magicians, is psilocybin. In the body, this compound binds to serotonin receptors, substance responsible for releasing some hormones and control sleep, temperature, appetite andmood. In addition, it works by regulating some motor and cognitive activities.
A research published in the journal Human Brain Mapping, in July 2014, entitled "Enhanced repertoire of brain dynamicalstates during the psychedelic experience showed as psilocybin acts on the body of users. Tagliazucchi and performed thestudy with collaborators some volunteers and found that psilocybin acts on parts of the brain related to dreams, reaffirmingthe symptom described by many users who say they have made psychedelic trips. The researchers also noticed that the partthat coordinates the logical reasoning wasn't acting properly during the action of this substance.
Psilocybin is also related to permanent changes in users ' personality. The work of MacLean and colleagues, published in the Joyrnal of Psychopharmacology, in 2011, and entitled Mystical experiences occasioned by the hallucinogen psilocybinlead to increases in the personality domain of openness, indicated that people who used this substance became more receptive to new experiences.
According to Maclean's work and employees, it is very difficult that people after 30 years to change their personality traits. However, using the hallucinogenic substance present in the mushrooms, some of the people being tested have changedtheir behavior after living a mystical experience considered for them.
Despite the positive experience reported by some users, the drug can cause "bad trips", an effect anything nice. This effect is responsible for panic
attacks, anxiety and fear that, if not treated properly, can have tragic consequences. American authorities arrived to find a man under effect of mushrooms in a State of panic after booting parts of their genitals.
Psilocybin, unlike a number of substances, does not cause chemical dependence. What is this thing.
